This program takes children on a journey in the life of a cowboy through music and poetry. Learn about the cowboy's gear, what happens during roundup, the many uses of the cow and some history of the great songs of the cowboy that have been around for hundreds of years.
So sing along and saddle up for an exciting and educational ride with Kip Calahan, the 2003 Academy of Western Artists Female Vocalist of the Year and the winner of the Western Music Associations Crecendo (Rising Star) Award.
Kip Calahan has been performing professionally for over 20 years and had traveled all over the United States and Japan. She currently lives with her daughter Kyli and her husband Richard who is foreman on the Diamond A Ranch formerly the Gray Ranch in southwest New Mexico.
Best suited for grades 2-5. Program can be adjusted to fit different age groups and time frame. |
